Nate Walters, President
Walters Wealth Management was founded on small-town values shaped in Kitsap County, where trust is earned, hard work matters, and relationships come first. Nate grew up in a household where integrity personal accountability mattered. He learned responsibility early, buying his first lawn mower and going door to door mowing lawns. From the age of eleven through college, he worked full-time summers to pay his way through the University of Washington.
Those early experiences sparked a lifelong interest in saving, investing, and long-term planning, and ultimately laid the foundation for a 20+ year career in financial leadership. Nate spent decades at some of the nation’s largest firms across the West Coast, leading teams and mentoring many respected advisors.
Wanting a more personal and accountable way to serve clients, Nate founded Walters Wealth Management in 2015 as a boutique, family-owned firm where clients work directly with the advisor whose name is on the door. Today, the firm sits on the water’s edge of the Puget Sound, with sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains - an environment that offers perspective and calm and reflects Nate’s belief that the best financial guidance is built on trust, long-term relationships, and genuine care for the people he serves.
Outside of work, Nate enjoys boating, golf, travel and spending time together with his wife, Kelley. When he’s not in downtown Poulsbo, he may be found kayaking on Liberty Bay.
Tyler Walters, VP
Tyler Walters grew up with a close view of the financial services industry. He often often spent time at work with his father and gained early exposure to financial planning, entrepreneurship, and the importance of building lasting relationships.
From a young age, he developed a strong interest in finance and problem-solving, following in his father’s footsteps while forging his own path. After graduating from college, Tyler moved to Australia on a work visa, where he met his wife, Julia. Together they spent several years living and working in Australia and Germany. These experiences helped to broaden his perspective of finance and people from different backgrounds.
Before joining Walters Wealth Management, Tyler built a successful career in software; working closely with and making a meaningful impact on some of the country’s most well-known and fastest-growing technology companies. Today, Tyler and Julia call Bainbridge Island home, returning to their family roots in Kitsap County. He brings a fresh perspective to wealth management, combining analytical thinking, modern technology, and a genuine passion for finance to help clients navigate complexity with clarity and confidence.
Outside of work, Tyler values time spent outdoors and with family. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Julia, playing a round of golf, boating on Liberty Bay, or taking joy rides around Bainbridge Island. He is a proud, fifth generation resident of Kitsap County.
